myTuner Radio Pro App Reviews

Was looking for an app that would allow me to play my favorite radio stations across both my MBPr and iOS devices and this app is it. Downloaded the free version and within minutes decided to download the pro (paid) version because I wanted to support the team that developed this gem of an app. This app allows me to listen to many of my favorite radio stations around the world and enjoy the tunes anytime I’m in the mood. Don’t delay, get this app and start enjoying your favorite radio stations from around the world. In addition to listening to the live streams, you can record the mix and listen later through iTunes. Awesome app!

Its great app but it still buffers and the stations come in and out

I tried the free version and thought that the paid version would have the ability to save favorites for future recall. Nope. Can’t do it. You have to enter them in all over again each time. A more pleasing interface might be nice too. Maybe the Radio on the icon with the frequency displayed?? Both the free version and the paid version worked well for me. I have already rated this once and wish it would not ask me to rate it again. My primary complaint is that either I do not know how to permanently enter my favorites in such a manner that they will be recalled when I boot it up, or that the program just does not do it. I must admit that this is my first experience with internet radio and find it enjoyable.

I have been using the Pro version for some time now but was not happy since I use the Yosemite Dark Theme all the time. And it had not had a Dark theme update. Now that it dose now I am very happy with it. My Radio Tuner has all ways worked like a champ never had many problems with it and has been very happy with it. But now even happier since this update came out and no longer have a blank spotin my Menu Bar.

I enjoy this app very much. I listen to it throughout my house (re-broadcasting to other devices). Lots of variety. Only one minor downside - there are so many channels out there, that a more advanced search feature might make it easier to find more good stations. Keep up the good work!!

I thoroughly enjoy this app, which is seamlessly integrated with my Mac’s operating system. Easy to access by an icon on top of screen. An amazing selection of radio stations — everything that I searched for I found.

I truly enjoy listening to channels from the USA now that I don’t live there. My wife finds the Belgium channels fun to listen to as well.

The program works and I have received program from other countries, especially news channels that give a perspective unlike domestic news. So far, so good.

I asked for a station to be added and it was two days later. I could use a multitimer option to listen to different stations at different times automatically but thats not required. Sound is clear without dropout. A solid performer.

What can you say, you get it all here!!!

connected me with community radio stations , which were not on the menu within hours. thus far streaming with landlady’s slow wi-fi router seamless. recommend this app for live radio streaming fans. thanks. oh, running on 2010, iMac, within updated OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5

I love that I can listen to my favorite talk show hosts right from my computer!

Apple’s mantra for years has been that “it just works.” Simple to use, and yet staggeringly reliable. myTuner mimics this in every way! It’s a very straightforward app, with a super easy UI, and it works perfectly every time. It is my constant companion at work, and outside of my pro apps, the most used piece of software on my computer. Keep up the great work!

A little slow and selections in some genres are limited but overall good. Gives me the foriegn stations (UK & German) I look for.

I was considering buying my a transistor radio or better yet purchase me a iPod of some sought so that I can listen to the ball games when I am away from home. But now that I had the opportuinityt to download this radio app I don’t need to do that. And I have the memories of yesteryear when folks didn’t have TVs or devices that we have to day to watch movies, television episodes, sports, news… Thanks for creating and giviing a person like me the chance to at least hoidon to some very special memories.

I updated to el capitan, and myTuner stopped working… Before it was only somewhat ok - I could listen to a radio station for a while but then it would time out, while my iphone has a similar app that continued on working. The difference seems to be that my iphone app kept waiting for the station even if it had to stop the sound for a few seconds while myTuner just gave up. Anyway, now it doesn’t work at all.

Radio stations all over the world, and they come in really well! I feel more connected with so many different countries.
